At Brooklyn Cloth, we have the amazing opportunity of working with some wonderful talent. This couldn’t be truer then when we had the opportunity to collaborate with Tommy Tran.

Tommy, a New York City born now living in Seattle, reached out to us about working together a few weeks back. We asked Tommy what he liked about Brooklyn Cloth. He said that he liked the uniqueness of our bomber jackets and he could really see them becoming big again. Tommy humorously describes his own unique, personal style as 70’s that got lost in the mountains. We took a look at some of his previous work and decided that we had to work with him.

We sent the freelance photographer some of our product to shoot. The style, creativity, and talent of this photographer/author really translate in the pictures we saw. You can see some of the photos here on this blog. If you would like to see more, please visit his Instagram feed here

Fun Fact: Tommy is a self-proclaimed good cook (We haven’t tasted any proof yet, next time you’re in NYC, okay?). He actually was going to go into the culinary arts, but decided on writing and photography instead.

Tommy feels very similarly to us here at Brooklyn Cloth that we get the unique opportunity to work in a place where work and art meet. He hopes to be a New York Best Selling Author by the time he’s 30. If his writing is as good as his photography, we can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve. We wish him the best of luck in the future and can’t wait for the next time we get to work with him.
