Atmos, a streetwear and sneaker retailer from Japan has now added a location in uptown Harlem. A good thing about their location, is pairs don't sell out as quickly as the stores downtown in Soho, so there's a good chance you'll find those sold out sneakers here. Alumni was founded in the late 80’s and was formally named Sneaker King. In 2013, it changed to Alumni of New York, holding two locations in Brooklyn, and then opened a third location in Queens. Inside the store, walls are covered by hundreds of sneakers from famous brands like Nike, Adidas, Converse, and Vans, as well as a small assortment of streetwear labels like G-Star, Only NY and Play Cloths. Today, the store is trying to approach the premium market by pulling premium brands to the stores, such as Carhartt WIP, Chinatown Market and Canada Goose.
